At Sunset Farms, our family has been creating exceptional holiday balsam
decorations for over 20 years. We make all of our balsam products by hand
to guarantee a unique product that demonstrates our dedication to quality.
Although we are a seasonal business open Mother's Day to Father's Day for
bedding plants and Thanksgiving to Christmas for balsam products, the work
is year round. We start our seedlings in mid – February and we have
expanded from one greenhouse in 1986 to building our fourth in 2008. We
have added a new parking lot to accommodate our growing visitor count.
When the greenhouses close in June, we are already preparing for the
Christmas season – ordering supplies, preparing advertising, and
organizing our workspace.
